The ZXMS81045SPQ-13 from Diodes Incorporated is an Automotive Qualified, Intelligent High Side Switch IC that is ideal for high-side switching with diagnostic feedback for 12 V grounded leads, resistive, inductive, and capacitive loads, high in-rush current loads in incandescent lamps and motors, and compact low-power replacement for relays, fuses, and discrete circuit applications. It requires an input voltage of 5-28 V. The switch IC consists of a control logic, monolithic N-Channel vertical power MOSFET, analog current sense mirror, current limiter, charge pump gate supply, output voltage drop regulator, over-temperature detection with auto-restart, and open-load detection circuit. It is designed to offer protective and diagnostic functionalities to the circuit.
