The LNK3206GQTL from Power Integrations is an Automotive Qualified Power Switch IC that is designed to provide a significant reduction in component count compared to traditional discrete solutions, thereby making it a highly reliable device. It requires an input voltage of 30 - 550 V. This power switch IC consists of a 750 V power MOSFET, oscillator, On/Off control, a high-voltage switched current source for self-biasing, current limit comparator, capacitors, and inductors. It supports buck, buck-boost, and flyback topologies and provides excellent load and line regulation. The power switch IC has a frequency jittering function to reduce the complexity of the EMI filter and integrates pin-out to allow simplification of PCB heat sink operation.
