The C451PB from Powerex is a Phase Control Thyristor that is designed for phase control systems. It has a break-over voltage of up to 1200 V and a break-over current of less than 1500 A. This thyristor has a gate trigger voltage of up to 5 V and a gate trigger current of 200 mA. It has low on-state voltage and employs field-proven amplifying gate technology. This RoHS-compliant thyristor has greater di/dt and dv/dt capability, thereby resulting in a remarkable surge and I2T ratings. It is available in a disc package that measures 73.7 x 25.4 mm and is ideal for power supplies, motor controls, and VAR generator applications.
