Solar power has emerged as one of the fastest-growing renewable energy technologies worldwide. This rapid growth has been driven by substantial investments, green government policies, ongoing research advancements, and an increasing focus on decarbonization. Traditional silicon-based solar technology is, however, approaching an efficiency limit. Additionally, the rigid and heavy design of silicon solar panels limits their application use cases. In response, perovskite solar cells have gained significant scientific and commercial interest due to their lightweight and flexible properties, relatively low production costs, and ability to boost the efficiency of silicon panels with minimal additional expense.

This webinar will:

1.Discuss perovskite PV, including the main technologies; single junction/thin-film perovskite, perovskite/silicon tandem and all-perovskite tandem PV

2.Detail the major application areas driving the uptake of perovskite PV, along with the major players targeting its production

3.Outline the emerging material trends for perovskite PV, including overcoming stability issues, manufacturing methods, and the latest major research developments

4.Overview the key perovskite PV trends for the next decade
