FBS-GAM02-P-R50 External Bootstrap Capacitor Value vs. Switching Frequency

The FBS-GAM02-P-R50 module has a switching frequency lower bound of 200 kHz, determined by the internal bootstrap capacitance. EPC Space has received inquiries about using the GAM02 module for applications with a desired switching frequency below this limit. An external bootstrap capacitor can be used to operate below this frequency. This analysis demonstrates the required external bootstrap capacitance versus operating frequency.
