SynQor, a leading supplier of power conversion solutions to the military, industrial, rail transportation, commercial avionics, medical and telecom/datacom markets, has introduced BusQor BQ55090QZx84 bus converter - a next-generation, board-mountable, isolated, fixed switching frequency DC-DC converter that uses synchronous rectification to achieve extremely high conversion efficiency. The BusQor series provides an isolated step down voltage from 48 V to 12 or 9.6 V intermediate bus with no regulation in a standard “quarter-brick” module. BusQor converters are ideal for creating the mid-bus voltage required to drive point-of-load (nonisolated) converters in intermediate bus architectures.
