BTC POWER's EV Chargers Listed in CALeVIP's Eligible Equipment List

BTC POWER, a leading provider of EV charging solutions, has announced that their chargers are now officially listed on the California Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Project (CALeVIP) Eligible Equipment List. This milestone strengthens BTC POWER's position as a key player in accelerating the adoption of EV infrastructure across California.

CALeVIP, funded by the California Energy Commission (CEC), and administered by the Center for Sustainable Energy (CSE) is designed to support the expansion of publicly accessible EV charging infrastructure by providing rebates and incentives for businesses and property owners to install publicly accessible electric vehicle chargers. This program prioritizes high traffic areas, underserved communities, and regions with significant EV adoption goals. This initiative and funding will help local businesses and property owners reduce overall costs of installing infrastructure. With BTC POWER's inclusion on the Eligible Equipment List, customers can now access rebates and funding support for deploying BTC POWER's industry-leading charging solutions.

BTC POWER's Gen 4 chargers meet the highest industry standards, including the latest OCPP 2.0.1 compliance, ensuring seamless interoperability with a wide range of network providers. This compliance enhances communication between chargers and backend systems, optimizing performance, security, and user experience.

"This is an exciting achievement for BTC POWER as we continue to support the expansion of California's EV infrastructure," said Yazan Dabbas, Field Applications Engineer at BTC POWER. "Being listed on CALeVIP's Eligible Equipment List means our customers can now take advantage of valuable incentives while deploying reliable, future-proof charging solutions."
