The DLDC34 from DC COMPONENTS is a Diac that has been designed for use in thyristor phase-control circuits for lamp dimming, universal motor speed control, and heat control applications. It has a break-over voltage of 34 V and a break-over current of less than 100 µA. This military-qualified diac is glass-passivated across the three layers for triggering thyristors. It is available in a surface-mount package that measures 3.6 x 1.5 mm.
