The DB3 from Diotec Semiconductor is a DIAC that is ideal for dimmer circuits, AC switches, controls, triggering of triacs and thyristors, and commercial-grade applications. It has a break-over voltage of 28 - 36 V and a break-over current of less than 200 µA. This REACH and RoHS-compliant DIAC offers bidirectional switching and includes protection capabilities to prevent false trigger operations due to light. It is available in a through-hole package that measures 62.5 x 1.9 mm.
