The D32P from EIC SEMICONDUCTOR is a Bi-Directional Diac that is ideal for triggering triacs and thyristors used in military, industrial, and commercial applications. It has a break-over voltage of up to 32 V and a break-over current of less than 100 µA. This diac has a power dissipation of less than 300 mW. It can conduct in both directions, thereby providing bidirectional switching operations, and has high reliability and current capability. This RoHS-compliant diac is available in a through-hole package that measures 56 x 2.7 mm.
