The AOZ18101DI-02 from Alpha & Omega Semiconductors is a Current-Limiting Over-Voltage Protection eFuse IC that targets applications requiring front-end protection at the input line. It requires an input voltage of 3.5 - 14 V. This eFuse IC integrates a soft-start function that can be programmed to control the in-rush current for highly capacitive loads. It uses a built-in blocking FET to provide True Reverse Current Blocking (TRCB) function and includes an external blocking FET control pin option if a standalone MOSFET is preferred. The eFuse IC contains an internal current-limiting circuit that protects the supply from large load current and also uses a resistor to externally set the current limit threshold.
