The C0G with KONNEKT Series from KEMET Corporation are Multilayer Ceramic Chip Capacitors designed for high-efficiency and high-density power applications. They have a capacitance of 0.78 nF – 2.0 uF and a capacitance tolerance of about ±10%. These capacitors have voltage ratings of 10 - 3000 V. They utilize a high-density packaging technology that employs Transient Liquid Phase Sintering (TLPS) material to create a surface-mount multichip solution. These capacitors utilize KEMET's robust C0G base metal electrode (BME) dielectric system and exhibit no change in capacitance for applied DC voltage and change with temperature. They have extremely low ESR and ESL values and exhibit high mechanical robustness compared to other dielectric technologies.
These RoHS-compliant capacitors are available in surface-mount packages and are suitable for wide bandgap (WBG), silicon carbide (SiC) and gallium nitride (GaN) systems, data centers, EV/HEV (drive systems, charging), LLC resonant converters, switched tank converters, wireless charging systems, photovoltaic systems, power converters, inverters, DC link and snubber applications.
