The MSC050SDA170S from Microchip Technology is a Schottky Barrier Power Diode that is ideal for switch-mode power supply, inverters and converters, motor controllers, and snubber/clamp diode applications. It has a forward voltage of up to 1.8 V and a forward current of less than 136 A. This diode has a reverse voltage of up to 1700 V and a reverse current of less than 250 µA. It exhibits zero reverse recovery, low forward voltage, and leakage current, and operates with minimal power loss. It is avalanche-energy-rated, providing robust protection in demanding conditions. This power diode offers high switching frequency while maintaining low switching losses. This RoHS-compliant power diode is available in a surface-mount measuring 18.70 x 15.85 mm.
