The PESDV0R1BDSF from Nexperia is a Bidirectional Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Protection Diode that is designed to protect one signal line from the damage caused by ESD and other transients. It has repetitive peak reverse voltage from -5 V to +5 V. This diode is suitable for lines where the signal polarities are both positive and negative to the ground. It uses an advanced clamping structure that results in a negative clamping resistance and exhibits snap-back behavior to strongly reduce the clamping voltage of the system behind the ESD protection limit during an ESD event.
