The A7406AE6R from AiT Semiconductor is a Step-Down Switching Regulator IC that is ideal for high-voltage power conversion, industrial power systems, power meters, and battery-powered applications. It requires an input voltage of 4.2 - 40 V and provides an output voltage of up to 40 V. This IC has a switching frequency of 1.8 MHz and an efficiency of over 90%. It has an integrated internal high-side high-voltage power MOSFET that delivers a highly efficient output and supports current mode control for fast loop response. This regulator IC can reduce the switching frequency to achieve high efficiency under light loads and reduce both switching and gate driving losses. It has internal compensation circuits with ceramic output capacitors to ensure high stability. This regulator IC is equipped with thermal shutdown function and precision current limit for safety during operation. It is available in a surface-mount package that measures 2.92 x 2.80 mm.
