The 10AEM10941C0000 from e-peas is an Ambient Energy Manager that is designed to extract DC power from up to 7-cell solar panels, store energy in a rechargeable element, and supply the system with two independent regulated voltages. It requires an input voltage of up to 5 V. This energy management IC integrates all active elements for powering a typical wireless sensor. It includes an ultra-low-power boost converter that operates with an input voltage range from 50 mV to 5 V, allowing it to efficiently charge storage elements such as Li-ion batteries, thin-film batteries, supercapacitors, or conventional capacitors. This energy manager also supports a unique cold-start circuit, which allows it to start operating with empty storage elements at an input voltage as low as 380 mV.
