The TLF35585QUS02 from Infineon Technologies is an Automotive-Grade Functional Safety Power Management IC that has been designed for safety-relevant applications. It requires an input voltage of 3-40 V. This AEC-Q100 Grade 0-qualified power management IC (PMIC) includes a buck-boost pre-regulator, low-drop post regulators, a precise voltage reference, two voltage trackers, and protection circuitries. It uses the buck-boost pre-regulator to provide power to the post-regulator rails for microcontroller and communication supply and voltage reference. The two trackers deliver power to the on-board sensors and each tracker provides an output current of 150 mA. This PMIC includes sync out signal and voltage monitoring capabilities to ensure proper operation of the core supply. 

This power management IC also has configurable window watchdog and error pin monitoring functions for enhanced safety and reliability during operation. It can be controlled through a 16-bit SPI interface to support interrupt and reset functionality. This RoHS-compliant IC is available in a surface-mount package that measures 9 x 9 mm and is ideal for electric power steering, battery management, engine management, traction inverter, and domain control applications.
