The DML3008LFDS from Diodes Incorporated is a Single-Channel Load Switch IC that has been designed to support a wide input voltage range and offer high current capability, enabling it to be used across multiple designs and end equipment. It requires an input voltage of 0.5 - 20 V. This switch consists of a control logic, gate driver, thermal protection, bandgap/biases/charge pump, bleed resistor, and N-channel MOSFETs. This switch has a controlled adjustable turn-on feature with an integrated power good (PG) indicator. It minimizes the voltage drop across the load switch and power loss from the switch by setting the on-resistance at 11 milli-ohms. This load switch uses the PG indicator to notify the system about the status of the switch to facilitate seamless power sequencing. It has a very low leakage current during shutdown, thereby reducing unnecessary leakages for downstream modules under standby mode.
