The BB-EIRSP1 from Advantech is a Single Stage Industrial Ethernet Surge Suppressor that is designed to protect all the eight lines of a standard Cat5e ethernet cable. It can handle a peak pulse power of 600 W and can withstand a peak surge current of 1000 A. This ethernet surge suppressor has a voltage of 60 V and is compatible with 10/100 Base T networks and 802.11af (modes A and B) Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) protocols.
