The SPDN-A120-1P from Littelfuse is an AC Surge Protective Device that is ideal for water/wastewater, oil and gas, HVAC/R, food and beverage, light industrial, and construction applications. It requires an input voltage of 120 V. This surge suppressor includes multiple direct modes of protection such as L-N, L-G, and N-G in a small package. It has a thermally protected, stacked metal oxide varistor (MOV) design that provides high transient voltage protection in a compact, multi-layered structure and eliminates possible catastrophic failures. This surge protector is connected to the load side of the circuit breaker to effectively turn OFF the breaker during upkeep conditions. It also helps to mitigate effects on power supplies by decreasing zero-crossings during ringing transient conditions.
