The APTGL325A120D3G from Microchip Technology is a Field Stop Trench IGBT that is ideal for welding converters, switched-mode power supplies (SMPS), uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and motor control applications. It has a collector-emitter breakdown voltage of up to 1200 V, a saturated collector-emitter voltage of 1.8 V, and a gate threshold voltage of 5.8 V. This IGBT has a collector current of up to 325 A and a power dissipation of less than 1500 W. It offers low voltage drop, low leakage current, and low forward voltage across the built-in diodes. This Trench IGBT also has low switching losses and uses soft-recovery parallel diodes. It integrates a Kelvin emitter for easy drive operation and enables direct mounting to heatsink for simplified integration. This RoHS-compliant IGBT is available in a module that measures 109 x 63 x 31.5 mm.
