The STWBC2-HP from STMicroelectronics is a Wireless Charging Transmitter IC that is compliant with WPC Qi and other proprietary specifications. It requires an input voltage of 4.1 - 24 V. This transmitter IC is designed to support half-bridge and full-bridge topology with DC-DC converter designs. It is a system-in-package consisting of a microcontroller and an application-specific front-end die. This transmitter includes an embedded DC-DC converter, LDO (low drop out) regulators, voltage doubler, Qi FSK programmable modulator, flash memory, and static RAM. It integrates current, voltage, and phase demodulators and also features integrated current and voltage sensors. This transmitter features USB power delivery and supports 12-bit ADC, UART, SPI (up to 28 Mbit/s), I2C (up to 1 Mbit/s), and up to 8x GPIO interfaces to allow internal communication paths for devices. It is available in a surface-mount package that measures 8 x 8 mm and is ideal for consumer electronics and industrial applications.
