The NGW30T60M3DF from Nexperia is a Field Stop Trench IGBT that is ideal for motor drives for industrial and consumer appliances such as servo motors operating between 5 - 20 kW (up to 20 kHz) for robotics, elevators, operating grippers, in-line manufacturing, power inverters, uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) inverter, photovoltaic (PV) strings, EV charging, induction heating, and welding applications. It has a collector-emitter breakdown voltage of over 600 V, a saturated collector-emitter voltage of up to 1.7 V, and a gate-emitter threshold voltage of up to 7 V. This hard-switching IGBT has a collector current of up to 75 A, a forward current of less than 80 A, and a gate-emitter leakage current of 200 nA. It has a power dissipation of less than 285 W.

This RoHS-compliant IGBT combines carrier-stored trench-gate and field-stop (FS) structures and includes a Silicon diode. It offers low conduction, and switching losses, as well as stable and tight parameters for easy parallel operations. This IGBT has a short-circuit withstand time of 5 µs and is fully rated as a soft fast reverse recovery diode. It is available in a through-hole package that measures 41.42 x 16.13 x 5.21 mm.
