However, the adoption of EVs faces infrastructure challenges and obstacles. The government's commitment to a ban on petrol and diesel-powered cars from 2030 is seen as insufficient, with 60% of respondents believing Paris Climate Agreement targets are not achievable. The shift towards EVs is urgently needed to meet the Paris Climate Agreement. Despite over 600,000 battery-electric cars on UK roads, only 2% of cars are electric.
